Hi ---- mljohnson05

I have a bb red hen setting on 9 eggs! You can see some of the eggs peeking out from under her.
All the girls kept laying eggs in the same box and now one of them is setting. There were 4 eggs in the nest box next to this one. They have not been using this nest box until now. I have 8 hens in the pen so we will see if somebody decides to sit on these eggs.

Still thinking of Joplin and praying for everyone.

Hello all just started reading Missouri thread. I am in the KC area.

Last weekend I drove over to Overbrook, KS for a bird swap looking for jumbo brown coturnix quail. They had rabbits, chickens, droves, ... But no quail.

Hey all. Glad to hear that y'all made it through
the storms.
I was in Texas when the big one hit Joplin, but
had to sit out 2 that touched down within 3 miles
of us while shopping at Cabela's.
We've gotten really lucky so far. No damage to the
house or cars in Texas, and just some damage to the
roof in Hale, Mo.
Looks like we get to put on a new roof, instead of just
the patch job we were gonna do.

Gotta say Hi and Welcome to all the new people popping
up on here.

I got a new memory card so I could take more pics
some seramas from my pen
