I'm going, AND I'll hopefully be picking up some new chickens from a guy I know there. He has had chickens for years, and last year when I ran into him there he got me thinking.... So, in a roundabout way I guess HE got me into chickens! So I owe him to buy from him, luckily he has some 1+ year old hens that are one of my fav breeds that he is looking to rehome in order to make room for younger girls. Hope to see you guys there and I CAN"T WAIT!!!!!!!

Fudgie--all the babies are doing good

I wish I was going to Jacob's cave cuz I need a couple new chicken waterers. There's a guy that sells them, he's got his spot up top by the kettle corn and where the front concession is. He sells all kinds of new poultry items, even incubators.

I actually get to work on Saturday

I got a job working the computers at an auction on Saturdays and really need the money so no Jacob's cave this year. It'll be the first one I've missed in 5 yrs

that is sooooo good. I am glad the chickies are doing good.

I was so good saturday at the sale. I only bought a Big turkey and a blue slate turkey and a momma goose and her goslings. They are so cute. I did not even get in any trouble! lol.

Cluckychick - tell me about this guy with the incubators. Last year I passed up a man with a sportsman and I have kicked myself for a year. Does he carry those? Are they new or used incubators? Got to get me a sportsman!

Fudgie - see I knew I should have went. Without me there you seemed to stay sensible. You need me to make you a crazy buyer, LOL!

Well we got 3 of the 5 pens finished and are hoping that we can finish the rest today. Hope everyone had a great weekend and now starts the countdown.

Hope everyone's day is going good. I got my garden tilled this morning and have to get the camper ready to take to Jacob's cave this weekend. also have 3 pens completed with just a little more work and will have the other 2 finished. One set done and 2 more to go. Ha ha will have to have those next month since i have tons of 8 week olds ready to come out of the grower pen.

We got hammered with ~ 4" of rain last night, and it's coming AGAIN this afternoon.

Guy I know lost over 160 acres of newly planted beans..
My garden looks good though. I put big bales to divert the run off so IT wouldn't wash out! I'm not crazy ~ lettuce, but my chickens are enjoying it!
