calling any one from missouri

So, I want to call the post office ahead of time to let them know I'm getting some chicks tomorrow, but I'm having trouble figuring out which post office to call!

Do you guys know which is the main postal office for St Louis (area code 63105)?

Also, anyone else from St. Louis (or nearby) order from MPC? When were you able to go pick them up? (OH to MO... they shipped out around 2PM. Hopefully they'll be at the PO by tomorrow morning!)
Hey solomine! I ordered some from them last year, I called my post office by code, and was given the correct office to call (they one I called was not the sorting/pick up office) in Ballwin. All of my chicks (7) arrived alive and well, though a day late because of the major heat wave last summer (they were shipping only overnight with the live). We did lose 2 later to a cat when they were first going outside (1 attacked/killed, 1 was her buddy and shock took her), but the other 5 are laying well! You can get onto the USPS site and type in your zip and it will pull up the offices you should start calling. Best of luck to you with your new babies!!!!

Seems I am only person ever in north Mo, LOL. How's everyone's year going so far? Mines 1/2 1/2. Snow last night freezing tonight. Ugg when will it straighten out. But birds are doing good, eggs are cooking in bator, selling everything the girls lay and have meat coming this week (Was suppose to be last week but clerical error somewhere).

Nature got me out of guineas but have the go ahead for turkeys this year. So I guess I got a trade off of sorts. Still trying to decide if I want to stick to my original breed I chose (3 more weeks waiting on breeder) or choose a different breed. This week I have choice of blue slate or chocolate. If I wait 3 weeks I can get Royal palm or Bourbon (1st choice). Only request I have been told is 2 for freezer. So its kind of open , but limited on poults I can buy. Not that my wife counts my birds (HEHE). I want at least a breeding pair for next spring. Will have to see how everything goes.

Sorry I didn't get back with you. I was actually in Lebanon Thursday morning as well picking up my hatchery surprise, but I also went Tuesday and picked up my toulouse goslings.

I am a classroom teacher in the St. Louis area who hatches with her class every year. My kids often think all eggs are white and all chicks are yellow so I try to get a variety of different eggs to teach them about diversity. The person I have bought eggs from the last 3 years is no longer on this board so here is what I am looking for:

Eggs in a variety of colors and sizes (love the bantams!)

I have a small budget but am always willing to pitch in my own money for this project. The chicks go to farms and I have a list of people waiting for my birds again this year. Thanks for looking and I appreciate any help you can give me!
