Thanks! Not yet..sadly I only have a couple of hens left after a dog attack wiped away years of building up my Cochin flock :-( My girls are just starting to lay again & are grandmas now so it will be slow going lol.

! Where-a-bouts are you in SE MO? I'm in Couch, SW of West Plains & just a hop & a skip NE of Mammoth Springs, AR. Just moved here in September & got my first chicken in November. Had to buy a 10' x 10' x 6' high kennel on the way home as I didn't even have a coop yet, lol. Have over 30 now. That's chicken math for ya. LOVE it!

Sorry to hear about the trouble with the dog attacking your flock. That's really hard to deal with. Hopefully you can rebuild bigger & better.

Anyone in the Joplin/Neosho area in need of a roo? I have two that really need new homes. We just have too many. They don't really get along and they are running the poor girls ragged. Will be getting a couple of pullets for my broody to raise and really need the space. Any takers? One is an almost year old ee/silkie mix and the other is a polish mix. He's about 6 months old.

Thank you! I'm in Perry Co Mo, abt 80 miles south of St. Louis. Sounds like you have a pretty good flock going thanks to that chicken math lol. I've had chickens most of my life & other poultry..one of my first best friends was a red hen named "Henrietta" who I carried around in a little bucket , Nice to "meet" ya!

I'm glad to hear that you didn't give up on chickens because of the attack.
