I don't know what the temp was here today, but it was very nice. Cool breeze, but the sun felt pretty warm. Most of the snow melted. The chickens enjoyed some free time in the yard and a good dirt bath. Tomorrow going to work on the cage for the chicks.... I hope I make good progress so I can get them out of the kitchen!

47 here this morning! This is surreal.

Cloudy and damp but warm. I'll take it!! A small green egg this am, set it in a food bowl I took out of the coop and set it on an outside table while I refilled the waterer. Went back and the egg was gone!! Boston terrier mix pup had stolen it!! She was happily racing around the yard with her treasure. She did drop it when asked to and it wasn't damaged. Guess I'll have to be careful about that in the future.
