Ended up with 4 eggs today!!! One probably from late in the day yesterday. I think I was wrong and the "pink" eggs were actually light colored brown. I'm getting a pretty blue,, an olive green and brown. Just 3 pullets.

51°F this morning with a high of 63°F and mostly sunny... can't wait for the ground to dry up a bit. Wx looks good for the rest of the week in SEMO. All 9 pullets popped out some rent yesterday.

Well I just called Cackle and ordered 4 Appenzeller Spitzhauben chicks, hatch day is Feb 5 and I'll go pick them up Feb 6! 2 weeks from today!

They don't sex them. Hopefully 4 is enuf to get at least 1 of each sex. This will be my first trip to Cackle.
