There are scissor tailed flycatchers that live at the end of our road, I've seen them on the power wires when I drive to town. Here on the farm, just Phoebes and Peewees. My eyesight isn't as good lately, so it's harder to differentiate birds. Eye doc says time for cataract surgery, and that Medicare will pay for it. After which I won't need glasses, so I'm pleased!!!Do you see th scissor tailed flycatchers there?

Went for a little drive on some country roads yesterday . .I saw. . .
Meadowlarks
red-winged blackbirds mockingbirds
Of course sparrows, cardinals, and a few other "every day" birds.

According to bird Id I believe it is a sand piper!
It showed no the app there have been a few other sightings in the area we were in.
Very cool I thought.
