calling any one from missouri

I am around an hour and a half away from Macon, very managable I think. Moberly isn't that much farther either. Depending on my schedule, I would be game for it!

i wanna meet but proublem is hubby now works durring the day so i could not make it till after he got off work.
Is there a northern poultry club like the southern poultry club?

A weekend or evening would have to be, I bet weekend would be best for most. I don't know if there is a Northern Missouri Poultry Club or not If not I guess we could start one. I'll search the web and ask at the Extension Office this morning, I'll get back to all of you on that.

Macon or Moberly is GREAT with me. Trying to think of where would be good to meet. I am close to macon (Like 20 miles!) and we might be able to meet at one of the local church basements (we meet there for Girl Scouts stuff) and do something, maybe a carry in and the people close could bring the meat stuff so it is good and warm! there is also a Pizza Hut, China Garden, not really any good restaraunts that we could take over! LOL

Don't get out to Moberly too much but will check, I have to go through there this weekend. This sounds like a lot of fun!

What would you call that club the "NOMOPO CLUB" !!!!

a Carry in sounds wonderful, if you know of a place we could go to for this thats even better.

In Moberly there is Golden Corral (my Sister & I meet there some time). I don't know what else there is but I do have a farrier friend that lives there I could ask her or check with the Chamber of Commerence.

I LOVE the Pear Tree! We used to go there every year for my husband's work Christmas party. I am in! (unless I am busy at that time). And a northern poultry club sounds like a good idea. Maybe we can find something out about starting one and discuss it when we get together. Just let me know when!

I am thinking this is an awesome idea for my daughter's GOLD award project for Girl Scouts! It is good for not only the community but for the northern missouri area. I will get her on this!
