It shook our house hard enough that I could hear the dishes in the kitchen shaking I honestly woke up and thought the house was falling into a sinkhole lololol

We felt it here in St. Louis!
A friend of mine who lives 20 minutes closer to St. Louis said she felt it, so either I slept through it, or it just didn't make it the last 20 minutes to my house, lol.7:05 am
No but I've never felt one here. Once there was one that woke the wife and kids and I didn't feel a thing.@ChickenCanoe Did you feel the earthquake?
The only earthquake I've ever felt was standing at a hardware store counter in Costa Rica. At first I thought a big truck was driving by but when it kept going and the whole building was shaking I realized I felt my first earthquake.I didn't feel it in Jefferson County (Cedar Hill). I remember living in unincorporated St. Louis County as a kid and feeling them pretty often. I have rarely felt any as an adult. We live right on the New Madrid fault line, so I guess that it's a good thing (or a bad thing if it's saving up for a major quake).

I guess I just didn't notice it then!I live in Barnhart Missouri in Jefferson County and we felt it
Hi everyone, I live in Kansas city, in the northland for anyone familiar. I am new to chicks, I have 5 that are a little over 7 weeks. I know for sure 2 are pullets, but not sure on the other 3. Waiting it out I guess! We built a pretty nice coop/run in my backyard, and I think they like it. Let them out to roam every other day or so when I can be there. I worry about them all the time! I'm glad it's still been relatively warm here since there still young. But I'm learning a lot and glad to be here!
