Please don't go to Cackle! I was there just the other day and they had deformed ducklings, a few even had misshapen skulls, in the bin for sale and zero food and water for them. The guy told me they can't have water because they get each other too wet. Then he said they're controlling their food and water so they can't have any. Which is it dude? These were 2 week old ducklings. It's pretty common practice with ducks to do 12 and 12 with food and water (12 hours with, 12 without), but this was 10:30am. With business hours being as they are they couldn't have provided food and water for long enough for all the ducklings to get sufficient amounts before withdrawing it. Simply put, the grease ball at the counter didn't feel like going and filling the water or food. We've bought quite a few birds from Cackle, but seeing what they were willing to give to a customer in the name of making a sale was pretty nauseating.
