Thanks! You are right she knows good birds when she sees them. I think she has decided to show in the open show so we can run down to the swap. I will be in a green mini van. She has 2 pygmy goats to sell and a few other assorted animals. LOADS of babies so I hope it is warm, if not, they will be in the window incubator in the van front window LOL. That works really well to keep the little ones warmer.

What kind of birds are you bringing down?

Look what I just hatched!
I might have to part with 4 of them, I'll advertise on Craigslist if anyone's interested. 8 WCB Polish, 4 Buff orpington/polish, and a single BR/polish who's 'The dominator'.

I'm so excited 13 of 14 have hatched on my second incubating attempt. The first time was only 4 of 10. I learned a lot from it! I still have one egg I thought was a quitter at day 18, but I saw movement today, so I'm giving the latecomer a chance.

Yay!

Congrats Tedzilla -

Love the WCBP. They are so cute! If I am not mistaken, do you live in Jeff City or close to? Maybe I have you mistaken with someone else. Anywho you would be close enough to come to the swap in California at Orscheln's. If you are interested pm me and I will get you the info.

I would LOVE to have a nice black or buff standard cochin for showing for my daughter, however everything we have is bantam so we probably should stick to that. She has several frizzle hens(black and a golden laced) so a solid roo to go with them would be good or we have several frizzle males (a black, a partridge and a red) so a solid female to blend would work good too.

Here are some pics of the kiddos.
