We are starting to raise quail to sell their eggs and chicks for a little extra income and an a fun hobby. I am looking at our states regulations but really not finding information regarding selling live quail. Is there a specific permit to sell chicks and adult quail? We are getting the $5.00 permit to sell the eggs. Should I just contact the department of agriculture? Thank you!!!

what kind of quail? I would email the department of agriculture or call. they actually seem to be good at there job over there. the couple times I have had questions they actually helped and had very clear answers unless other govt entities...

They are jumbo browns, tibetian tuxedos, and chocolate ones. I will send them an email as well. Thank you!

Mine have gotten big and falling over. Should have already planted them but now it's winter again!

My seedling are inside because I have chicks in my cold frame... I guess I am lucky, I sure felt behind!

It snowed a bit this afternoon, at least in my neck of the woods.
