... all the other hummingbirds hated him and spit sugar water on the ground when I asked about him...

...one chimpmunk accused him of embezzling acorns... what would a hummer want with acorns?

...and the chickens said he cheated at cards... which is odd because all I ever taught them was old maid...

Robin is what came to mind when I looked at your picture... but yeah if you’re not sure maybe just move it up where the chickens can’t get it.... and see who feeds it...

it looks like a swallow to me.

Found this little hummer body on the side walk in front of the dining room... there is no sugar feeder there.... just on the other side of the house...

... there was a bit of blood on his head that was stuck to the concrete... so I’m guessing he hit the window at Mach 4...

I guess it’s a wonder we don’t find more of them like this as fast as the zip around ...

I have not had any humming birds smack the window. .but for some reason the yellow gold finch tend to commit suicide by window once in a while.
For a while I had a dog that would catch them and kill them! I had to stop putting any red flowers low to the ground.

t looks like a swallow to me.

yes, I see the parents now, going to care for it. They have concealed it under a big forsythia, and they go in and out. So it's out of my hands, and I am glad I don't have to do anything.
