Good idea... on the time of year...

Does this weather come with cedar waxwings?

I just went out to batten down the hatches and saw two of them gobbling up mulberries...

And the sky looks a bit ripe for ‘naders out there... you need to work on your sunshine dance ... because you’ve obviously been doing it wrong ;)
I have not seen a wax wing yet. . but they like my crab apple tree. I will keep an eye out for them!
As for my dancing. .. You tell me. Is this wrong?

....immediately if not sooner... we had a tree topped out behind the coop as that storm line passed through... got hung up in a nearby tree... so no damage other than to that tree.

stay safe!
besides all the severe threats, we got 6" of rain, now the sun is out...what a relief

Uh yeah... if you’re doing ‘The Elaine’ then it’s a wonder we don’t have even worse weather ...

Try this... immediately:

If I tried to move my feet that fast I'd likely trip and fall on my face. .right at the moment that meant the difference between sunny skies and hurricane. . and who knows what might happen then.

Yikes 6” of rain has gotta be a mess... we had 1.5” last night ... and I didn’t check the gage but probably 2” today... so not even close to what you got.

...we lost power about 5pm so we went to town... on the way we saw a house with some big trees down... so when we came home we went back and checked the back 40 ... and this 150 year old post oak lost a giant branch.

Ahh, yeah well a hurricane in Missouri ain’t gonna be no good for nobody ...

...so maybe just do this dance ... notice how one foot stays on the ground at all times making it safer...

... it’s not as good of a sunshine dance as the other one... but if done properly it’ll bring sunshine ... but it’ll often also bring ants...

Now that, I could do without killing myself. . .maybe. :hmm

But I sure as heck don't need no more ants. I already can't lay my cloths down in the bathroom without risking ants in my pants.
That may be part of my dancing issue to begin with. :lau

Well it looks like we're not out of the woods yet....more heavy rain and severe threats today!!!

@shawluvsbirds is still doing the wrong dance ;)

We ended up getting power back on at 2:30 am...

....those rural electric folks had a long hard night...

... there’s probably a lot of them still working at cleaning up and fixing up at this hour still too... hope they stay safe and get some rest soon...
