Does anyone know what that first bloom is? It came up volunteer in my flower pot by my dog pen. It looks just like I planted it there! The blooms open when the sun hits it and close when it gets shady.
Well lost my internet yesterday so could not post this till this morning...
The Shaws left here a bit ago heading east, we had a good time showing them around. When we got to the ballista well that's another story... turns out Mr Shaw is a metal working man so we had a lot in common.

That is definitely it!! Amazing!!I was trying to ID something else I saw yesterday and ran across your mystery flower.
It looks to be Flower-of-an-Hour (Hibiscus trionum)
