I didn’t know you could get strawberries in the fall... might have to try that

IIRC I started the seeds in February or March. I had about 25 seeds and almost half of them germinated with about 8 that made it in the raised bed. I had one in the center that put on a berry then keeled over and died.

The plants on the left and two on the right are Temptation Strawberry from Baker Seed, the rest on the right I have no clue what they are but they are trying to take over the world one runner at a time. I may dig them up this fall and put them on the side of a hill or something.

You have taro? Does it survive the winter?

I tried leaving them in the ground last year to see if the foundation would keep them warm enough... of course you recall that it got so cold it was killing off snowmen... so they turned to mush.. wrong year to try that for sure... but I doubt it would have worked...

This year I’ll try digging them up and storing them after the first frost
