Same here... Most of the ones in that picture are oak or hickory... the hickories turn a nice yellow, but they’re past that now and are brown... most years the oaks just go from green to brown...

...the sun in that picture is back lighting all those brown leaves making them look more orangy than they look the rest of the time...

Here’s a show me state shot of the fog burning off from up high this morning...

Everyone get their leaves raked/mowed yet?

I normally don't rake or mulch the leaves, but now I'm having so much fun composting I used the leaf blower and drone to move the leaves off the new grass I planted a few months ago so they can get some sunlight. Found a pretty easy way to pack the 55 gallon trash bag with leaves. I stand on the lip of the bag and hold it open with one hand and rake from the pile with my other hand. Fills a bag in a minute or two.

I dumped two 55 gallon bags of leaves in the chicken run for them to tear up.

I never knew I had such a serious face when flying lol.

I was thinking about raking a bunch up onto a tarp and dragging it over to a compost area but I don’t know if I’ll do that or just end up chopping them all up with the lawnmower

So far I’ve done squat

So you can blow the leaves around with the drone ?

The Phantom is pretty small at 24" tip to tip on the props and light so not very effective but fun to do. The Tarot 680 might do a better job at blowing leaves, it's 6 rotors with 40" tip to tip on the props and is much heavier. The smallest one I have is 4" tip to tip on the props and fits in your hand. I fly it indoors only.
