i had to look up what this is, after seeing your thread about it yesterday. I have never seen this condition. Do you know which hen? Is it contagious to the others? One hopeful statement I read is that it could be a one time occurrence.Hmm I got back from Cuba yesterday to find a lash egg in the nest box. So it looks like one of my hens is sick with salpingitis.

Monique has been flying up to my shoulder more often now. I see you tilt your head too when the chicken is on your shoulder. Monique is a bit camera shy and would not settle down until I put it back in my pocket.
