I had a dozen call duck eggs out there yesterday.. I can't believe they are already laying.

Can you show us the size?

I've gotten 14 eggs so far this year with both Tu-Tu and Molly dropping an egg today. I gotta quit saying laying cause they just don't lay the egg down.

Yeah they aren't as tiny as you would imagine. Some of the new layers will lay some tiny ones at first.

My bantam hen lays big eggs for her size. I get more egg per ounce of bird from her than from the big girls...

I’m not sure that our hens are laying right now, but the pullets are.... we’ve been getting a couple of these green jobbers from our two home hatched pullets...

In other news I noticed some daffodils were sprouting out of the ground a bit ... I’m guessing some of the warm temperatures recently fooled them ... hope they’ll figure out that it’s still winter and go back to sleep
