How about a cloths pin for size reference.
The bigger egg is a Cayuga. That one is getting pretty old now lol.
 
Yeah they aren't as tiny as you would imagine. Some of the new layers will lay some tiny ones at first.
My bantam hen lays big eggs for her size. I get more egg per ounce of bird from her than from the big girls...
Autocorrect changed bantam to Batman....🙃🦇

I’m not sure that our hens are laying right now, but the pullets are.... we’ve been getting a couple of these green jobbers from our two home hatched pullets...

In other news I noticed some daffodils were sprouting out of the ground a bit ... I’m guessing some of the warm temperatures recently fooled them ... hope they’ll figure out that it’s still winter and go back to sleep 😉
