Well I've been busy training them how to eat out of the chick feeder, use the vertical nipple water station. They don't seem to need any help napping and pooping.

Got a bit cool last night so turned the heaters back on in the coop. Yea it's 4 something in the morning...

Good morning! Lockdown day (18) for my incubator! I take out the turner, amp up the humidity, then we wait.....for cinco de Mayo
It's a bright starry night this morning.....

Ha! Lots of chicks everywhere! I had the same thought, if they all hatch, incubator plus broody's clutch, I'll have 17 more chickens. (of course, half will be boys so not all are keepers.)
I've got the brooder warming up in the basement.
DH said he'll build me a little extra coop for my incubator babies. We're not starting on it until we see if they hatch....
