calling any one from missouri

well we hafta have some flower pics, otherwise this might as well be the Oklahoma thread 😉...

I’ve never had any tropical hibiscus (hibiscuses? ... hibiscu-i ?) ... are they easy to keep? do you bring them inside during the winter? Do you have to wear Hawaiian shirts and sip umbrella drinks while tending to them?

😂 Yes they have fairly easy maintenance, but you do have to take them inside during the winter. I’ve got two and I love their blooms.Oh and that last one is up to you😉
 
Went to the mailbox and found a new color day lily and a Japanese beetle on a ditch lily... first one I’ve seen this year.... @shawluvsbirds... I guess I gotta find my bag of flour and pantyhose soon, lol

We call #1 a granddaddy or a daddy long legs... and #2 is a gollywobber or a skeeter hawk

I was surprised to learn that some folks call a gollywobber a daddy long legs
