calling any one from missouri

I saw a hummingbird. Ain't a darn thing for them to eat out here neither.
I hurried and fixed some nectar.
Haven't yet saw or heard an Oriole. Zark must have them all this year.
I put out some oranges and jelly so.. we'll see.
Yep... they’re all at my house, lol

we have a pretty good mob of them this year... whereas last year only we only had a few

I found cheap grape jelly at Menards a while back, so they’ve been feasting on that... I gave them a few oranges too... and sugar water in an orange feeder, but they kinda ignore that

I had to set up the feeders in a cat proof location this year, so they’re not as close to the house as in the past... so this is not the best picture but here are a couple of them

And just as I suspected the minute I put the Oriole stuff out ..it starts pouring down rain today. 🤪
I'm feeding the ants I guess.

Broody mama is due to hatch any day. I never got around to candling her eggs & I don’t want to mess with them now. I revisited Cackle’s website & surprise, they have chicks hatching tomorrow. I might be making a run to Lebanon after all.
Cackle sometimes closes the storefront so they can pull all the employees to work in packing chicks, so make sure they are open.
