We are supposed to get some winds today but not over 40 MPH gusts. I haven't stuck my head out yet because it's overcast so no viewing the meteor shower here. It's 61°F at the moment here.

Just went outside to open the outer doors for the hens and it's still and completely overcast. One of the Cinnamon Queens was molting like crazy last night and it looked like someone plucked a chicken!

5 days till Winter Solstice!

All the Cinnamon Queens went to bed without me having to act like the old rooster and say get up where you belong girl!

And Betty Boop still has to be carried every morning when I'm cleaning and raking the PDZ, I have no idea how she got that habit except she was sent to the neighbor's zoo for a couple of weeks for being a feather puller... and when I checked on her she came running up to me and looked up at me saying Daddy get me out of this mad house! Do you know they have Guinea hens here? I had to hold her the whole visit... came back a bit later on foot and she ran up to me and told me again take me home Daddy. And that's my Christmas story for everyone this year.
