Bird flu in the local news (Jasper is the county south of us):
MISSOURI — Four Missouri counties are reporting cases of bird flu — including Jasper County.

According to the Missouri Department of Agriculture 27,000 turkeys were infected and depopulated* in Jasper County. Lawrence, Bates, and Stoddard counties also had poultry infections.

You got a lot more snow than we did! We just got a dusting. The chickens even came outside and stayed outside. Plus, I don’t have to shovel the driveway!!

Hopefully it's done. It was powdery here. J blew it off the sidewalk and vehicles with the leaf blower this morning.

We got about 2" of powder snow, it's stopped so I swept a trail down the deck to the door.
