I've had 3 Cinnamon Queen hens living in kennels under a canopy in the Rhode Island Reds yard. With winter coming on I needed to get the CQ's in the coop. I made divider with a screen for the coop. The other day I put Pee Wee and Lucy in one side and the old gals could get in the other side via the door. The next night Lucy was in with the RIR's they picked a bit at her so I moved her over to the safe side. The next night they accepted Lucy. Last night I let Betty Boop out in the yard and sat in a chair with a glass of vino and watched... everyone was calm so I put Betty Boop in the safe side and the rest slept together. No roost time rumble so I was a happy guy.

I took the divider out today so we will see what happens at roost time tonight. I'm really surprised how easy it went. I guess them being together and in sight for a couple of months helped a lot.

The 5 year old RIR hens and the Cinnamon Queens are all buddies now and last night 5 slept on one roost elbow to elbow.

I'm not sure how this was so easy but I'm not complaining.

I went to the swap in Lamar today and got to say hi to Sue!
I took three call ducks and then bibbity bobbity boo
I came home with..

A lady and her kid looked at me like they was thinkin *what a nutcase* when i was loading those in that kennel at Wal-Mart.

Then when i got home I set the whole thing out on the ground and Mason went to barking up a storm l guess he thought there was something alive in there.

I love the maneuverability, I was so thrilled to see them

I did not! But yeah, I do like those too especially for groceries.
