Actually rumor has it we are setting up a commune for doomsday preppers and gonna open us up a Racoon skunk and armored diller sancuary which will also be open to gypsy travelers and hippies for a small entry fee and a months worth of survival food in those little packages that keep good for 100 years.

How high will a pole bean climb? We’ve always had trouble convincing the plants to grow horizontally along the top of the fence. So I put a 6’ bamboo pole vertically and tricked this plant into climbing up and up. But when it gets to the top, we will pivot the pole and place it horizontally 2’ above the fence to the arch over the gate. This variety is called Ozark purple podded pole beans and they grow fast…..
