1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

This afternoon we went to watch the Horse drawn Christmas parade in the tiny town of Irwin, which is about 10 miles away. People sat in the grass to watch this delightful little event. IMG_6346.jpeg IMG_6348.jpeg IMG_6356.jpeg
There were 30 or so participants, who all went to a dinner at the home of the family with the Halflingers. It couldn’t have been lovelier weather. IMG_6368.jpeg

Has anyone had eggs shipped to them recently? I'm interested in buying some but I am worried about them being damaged in the post. If you have, what side of the state are you on and what was your experience?

Well. I shipped some eggs to bowling green from southwest Mo. About a year ago.
They lost them. Then when they finially arrived it looked like the box had been kicked down the road. Lots of broken eggs and i had them individually wrapped in bubble wrap and packed tightly with lots of filler. Duck eggs too..which are harder to break.
