It was beautiful today! I even had the windows open for a while. In the last few days I have added wood ash, chicken poop and rabbit poop to my gardens. I need to take my trailer and go pick up a load of compost/topsoil and add to the raised bed for sure. I think it has sunk over a foot from last year!

I should plant a few tomato plants or something up on the deck this year. Didn't plant anything last year. I have some well seasoned compost to use. Just need to sift it to remove leaves and rocks.

Nuggets: one week old!

Ginger has developed a brutal side-eye (and may be a couple of days older than the other three just looking at her feather situation), and am watching Coriander and Pepper with curiosity since they were both sold by TSC as "Blue Legged Beauty" chickens, which as far as I can tell is some kind of in-house mixed breed. Not sure I have roo concerns with either of them yet -- their combs aren't as different as the pic makes them seem -- but it'll be interesting to see.
