We called one of my grandmothers Bamba! I've never heard of anyone else having a Bamba. It was because her first grandson couldn't say "Grandma" and that was the best he could do.

We had a fire for two or three days when it was cold, felt good!

JT, I've been wanting to get hold of you. I'm replacing a chest freezer bc I'm getting to be too old to defrost the thing. Still works, but ... when I get my new one they will just haul it off and scrap it. I know The Moonshiner likes these for storing bags of feed bc they are mouse- and rat-proof as well as weather proof. I wondered if you might like to have it for a very reasonable cost and you come get it. It is in the basement but between you and my DH and grandson it should not be too difficult to get out, going up the outside steps which are shallow. It's not huge. Not on a Saturday though, we are in church on Saturdays. Should I dm you my phone number?

I have a chest freezer that I need to empty out and get rid of too! I "think" the local Catholic food bank uses them.
