It sounds like the rest of you didn't get what we did! We got about 7-8 inches! I did't leave at all today! Hope we dont get anymore of this junk, I have had enough for this winter.

What part of the state are you at? How much did you get from that storm last week?​

Last week we got about 6-7 inches, some of that melted off then we got another 2 inches on Friday, Then last night we got about 7-8 inches. we are north of Columia in the Moberly area.

wow! I'm just over in Centralia and we only got another inch last night!

You all are getting hit harder than we are down here in the south west corner of the state. We had about an inch or so last week and there is NO snow in the next weeks forecast. Are we getting more snow this winter than past winters? Seems like it is getting colder and colder in the winters and HOT during the summers. Maybe it is just me. Hope you all are fairing pretty well.

Two of the neighbors huskies just killed 10 of my chickens before I could stop them.

Oh, no!! ChickenCanoe, I am so sorry for your loss!!!

That dog looks mean. I hope your neighbor keeps her word and puts them down. The neighbor dogs are why i haven't let my birds out to free range much. It would make me sick if I came home to no birds! Of course, now we have a puppy. I've been taking her with me on occasion to the coop so she can get used to them. I'm hoping because of her breed and size she will leave them alone. The roo we have is bigger than her so hopefully she doesn't get little dog syndrome.

stockbroken dogs AND owners who pay attention to them are worth their weight in gold ... I am sorry for your loss and if your neighbor doesn't do the right thing with their dogs, involve the authorities.

i have only had that problem once, and i live in the middle of town!

i seem to have warranted a reputation of sorts around here, seems everyone either thinks i am crazy or knows i am crazy.
they are somehow able to keep their dogs out of my yard, not sure how they do it. might have something to do with the police telling the last person that i came to his house and shot his dogs in his yard! [no i didnt do it, and wouldnt do it!] they didnt tell him the dogcatcher had them at the pound, just told him i did it.

since then i have been the "dog killer" if one dissapears around town.

i dont like people thinking that i kill dogs, but it has cut way down on dogs in my yard.
