calling for -40 tomorrow

CourtsCacklers....I didnt take it as a know it all statement at all....I'm always looking for new info, thanks for posting that.

yawninggreyhound...so far so good, survived the first round. Now it's -10 to -30 for the past two days, and the girls are doing great, learned alot along the way, no frostbite, and no problems. But every morning I am anxious to check on them.

you sound like me---- I am crazy about these girls!!!! I "visit" them several times a day--tell them goodnight every night....they are so much fun!!!! It is frigid cold tonight...I am sure they will be great!--I can tell yours are well cared for!!!!!
 
Ambient temp this morning was -15 and with the windchill it was -32. Opened the coop door this morning and they all came pouring out....sheww. Tonights supposed to be 3 so theres a warm up coming, it's gonna be 22 tomorrow...cannot wait.
