Calling Mystery Detectives.

Did you have a heat lamp on them? What are your night time temps? They could have either gotten too cold or been overheated.
Seems if an illness you would not have lost all 4 of them at the same time. So sorry for your loss.
 
We are keeping some incubator chicks in a pen indoors as we have freakishly cold snowy spring weather in the midwest. Last summer we got some mixed chicks and they were 8 weeks or so when we let them join the flock. They did OK and quickly learned to avoid the older birds. No idea why you babies died.
 
We didn't have a heat lamp on them cause they had been fine. Night temps had been ranging from the 40s-50s and daytime hasn't been over about 75 or so.
 
I'm not sure. They weren't laying in same place that they sleep and it wasn't as cold that night as it has been before. :( Just mysterious.
 
It has to be something they got into that was poisonous all at the same time. Nothing else could explain it
