calling poultry!

When I go out to my gals to bring treats or anytime I’m outside I call to them.... CHIIIIIIICKIIIIINS!!

for some reason,the sight of me sends my ducks running towards me,while chasing the sprinklers,and then if I don't have any treats on me, they will go back the way they came,while muttering,with heads down low.and if I didn't know any better, I would say that they are dragging their feet!
