Thanks everyone, been outside last couple of days, so pretty and so much to do in the garden that I hadn't checked BYC; can you believe that????? I cheat and machine quilt too, but this is soooo much more relaxing and satisfying. Didn't realize how much I had missed it!

My FIL has a long arm and finishes quilts as his retirement "job," so I have a source for that. I just wish I had more time to piece, because he does absolutely beautiful work and I could have a housefull of quilts if I could just get my act together! I'm always impressed by anyone who hand-quilts, though. I've tried it in the past and it's so time-consuming, but nothing compares. It's just breathtaking to see a bed-sized quilt that's been lovingly and precisely hand-quilted. Kudos to you, chickencrazymamahen!
