I know many have asked about a rooster that decides to attack you. I asked last year, but that is when he first got his hormones and I had no clue why he would do such a thing to me, he used to cuddle with me, he would come to me when it was bed time, I fed him etc.
but thanks to everyone I understood more..

But now it's been a year and I am on the fence about getting rid of him.

He isn't a big rooster, but he comes running at me full speed to spar with me, he will only do it while Im walking away but he attacks my legs from behind or the side. at first I tried booting him away, well that didn't work, so then I tried to just ignore him which I do for the most part because like I said he's little and it doesn't hurt (for now because it isn't shorts season I am still wearing pants)
If he isn't attacking my legs he is slowly walking sideways at me, When I walk away I can hear him running from way across the yard to get me. If i turn to him and tell him to knock it off he just stares at me.

he doesn't bother my boyfriend, he actually likes to hang out with him, or he will just choose to run away from him if my boyfriend walks toward him. My BF never fed them, cuddled them ya know because they are mine

I have tried picking up the rooster, holding him, walking with him, I've tried holding him upsidedown by his feet, laying him on his back.. everything as soon as I put him down he either wanders away or waits for me to walk away and pulls his crap again.

any other suggestions?

I actually caught him in his he's going to get me pose.
Thanks all

I have had no trouble with my silver-laced wyandotte rooster until yesterday. He attacked my sister-in-law twice and our broom (he hates the broom, even just the site of it). He has never attacked me or my sons. He is tearing up the back of my leghorn hen though, whom he prefers over all the other chickens. Suggestions would be welcome as I would like to keep him around to protect the flock.

Today when all the chickens free-ranged, the rooster was put in the tractor. He did not fuss until all the hens were pecking near the tractor. But, the good news, we had no problems with him today, LOL!
