Came from a Black Copper Marans but doesn't look the same as others

Yeah, I noticed after I posted the picture too that she has that copper leaking towards the bottom.

If mom is a BCM, shouldn't she have black legs too?

I don't believe that's a purebred black copper marans hen; if it is, it's a very poor example of one, I'm sorry to say, and should not be used to propogate the breed.
