which is not normal because mine are always locked in their run during the day. She came running across the yard to me as soon as I pulled up. I think we were both very surprised that she was loose in the yard. I still have no idea how she got out, but she was very relieved to see me and to be put back in the run. She even let me pick her up and snuggle her, which never happens. I never would've guessed a chicken would be so happy being confined to the run!

I had one do that. She was only out for a couple miutes cause I was bringing feed and water back out to the coop. Some how she got out behind me and my dog was hurding her and she was trying to get back into the run. I was happy my dog was good cause it could of been very bad.
