I'm surprised my phone camera was able to get those because its been freezing and crashing a lot lately. Especially when it tries to focus on something that's moving.

Honey. That worked on Amber, she had a cool cloth then honey

I used sugar instead as it was easier to control. She is so tiny it was just a pinch of sugar.

Honey also has healing properties. I'm a few days behind, I hope she's better.

Yes, honey would have been fine but it is a bit messy when dealing with a tiny chick - I would have had to dissolve it so I could use a dropper.
I also wasn't looking for its healing properties so much as its hyperosmolar/hypertonic characteristics. Basically to draw water out of the tissue so it shrinks and could fit back in easily.
Salt works too but of course stings like crazy!
