I have a bunch moulting and three broody.

Definitely improved.
Yes, honey would have been fine but it is a bit messy when dealing with a tiny chick - I would have had to dissolve it so I could use a dropper.
I also wasn't looking for its healing properties so much as its hyperosmolar/hypertonic characteristics. Basically to draw water out of the tissue so it shrinks and could fit back in easily.
Salt works too but of course stings like crazy!

Thank you, for explaining that. I should read ahead, but is she better?

But she does!
I have to buys some more fake eggs. The golf balls aren’t cutting it. Sylvie has now booted 3 out and they have disappeared!

I once stuck a fake egg in my incubator. I didn't realize it was fake until I candled at day 7. Now I paint them bright colors so I can keep up with them.
