Hmmm, so it must take going on vacation to get some girls to start laying? I'll have to remember that next summer after my next batch of chicks

Yep, I read somewhere that hens need "peace and quiet" to lay eggs, so the only way my hens get that is to take my kids on vacation LOL... We've been back a week and have only gotten one egg since!

Good grief! How'd you get them to lay in the basket? Most people can't even get them to lay in the nest box.
