Hi! We are planning to use a camper top from a utility truck as the top of our coop. It has two windows that prop open on each side, a small window that doesn't (at this point) open and then the part that opens at the tail-gait. It is roughly 5'x7' and about 3' tall. Are there any other suggestions for me or any other camper top coop pictures out there? Thanks!

I built these to raise my teenagers in untill ready to run withthe big chickens.I built a frame 4 foot high and placed the topper on it. Covered the back and half way up the sides to block wind. Took the tailgate window off and covered with wire.I used things I already had. Because I was in a hurry. You could make it look alot better.

My wife and I were thinking about using a topper for a chicken tractor till we thought about when we go camping in our camper. I can't stand sleeping in there after the sun has been up a hour or so. Fiberglass and aluminum makes a great oven in the sun.

Thank you! Those pics are great. We are concerned about the temps inside, too. But it does have big side windows and is white.... . If / when we get it done, I'll post some pics. We are still trying to decide if it is the way to go or not. The water proof part and the "we already have it" part are winning out so far.
