Campine Chicken thread?

Pics
Just a personal resentment here, about Friesians, but anyone seen this picture below before? It keeps getting copied and used over and over by several sellers saying they have Campines on offer. But it is a Friesian, 100%!
Nothing wrong with a Friesian though, don't get me wrong, hey, they're family. But just this picture is bugging me and it keeps popping up all over the place

Funny thing is, this pic is originally from a dutch wikipedia page on east-friesian gulls: http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oost-Friese_meeuw

These are some of the sites where the Friesian, including the Golden Friesian, is passed of as a Campine.
And they're the same two pictures over and over:

You can find them on ebay too from time to time.

Okay, so does anybody know for sure how to make your own chamois campine color? I've heard people on here mention crossing white leghorns with golden campines. If this is so, who should be the male and who the female? Also, would I want to look for good leghorn stock since that breed and the campine are fairly similar in type to my understanding, or look for positives that you would want for campines? I may make a thread about this just in case anybody else out there knows.

From my research, put a golden cock over a white leghorn hen, then breed the daughters back to their father.

That's the direction I'm headed. For a multitude of reasons, I need to start over with my first cross. But I'm going on vacation so I needed to wait on the first hatch.

Question to all those with laying Campines: could you please post the average weight of about 10 of your eggs?

I did the same with 6 eggs and ended up with 48,6 grams average.
This is exactly the weight I found in following study: Lager The Chicken Larger The Egg.
In the old French chart below they were set a bit higher, namely 50 grams.

Hi

I have silver campine pullet, but am unsure as to her age. She was sold to me as 'approaching POL', but I think she's younger than I first thought. What do you think? Also, at what age to campine pullets usually develop their combs?

Thanks for any answers.
