Can’t eat hard foods

They really don't need bacon. 😬

If the pellets are too big, try crumble feed instead. Or wet/ferment the feed so it becomes a soft mush, that should be quite easy to feed them.
I just had bacon in the fridge. It’s not a normal thing for them.
should they be having layers pellets even if they aren’t laying at the moment? wetting them sounds like a good idea. I’m just new to chickens and just want them to be healthy.

If they're not currently laying better to feed something like all flock, flock raiser, grower... something with lower calcium % (around 1% vs layer's 4%)

Here are photos of their beaks. Renas is worse than Adas.
and Moët the cat checking out their beef and veggie water in the background.

You can get a Layers feed in crumbles here in the U.S. I'm guessing you're in England.
If they aren't laying, just feed them a Non-Medicated Chick feed and a separate container of calcium, Oyster Shells, Limestone Grit or Marble chips. GC

Even pellets will work if you mix them in water to make a mash. That is what I would do. Experiment with what consistency works best for them, more liquidy, or thicker like thick porridge or oatmeal. Also using deeper dishes for food and water so they can scoop better will help, and raising them up to shoulder height will make it easier. Picking things up from ground level will always be harder for them. Most birds adapt with a bit of help and do well. I would really cut back on all the other extra stuff they are getting, fat birds are going to end up with health problems. Try to keep all the extras to 10% or less of the total diet.

I’m in Australia. They are 18 months old, just in moulting which is why they aren’t laying.
