Can’t get humidity up on lockdown 😬😬

Hi guys!! Me again! I am So grateful for all your help through this process! I’m on day 18 of hatching 11 little chickies in my nurture right 360 incubator, and i put Down shelf paper after candling one last time last night, so I’m really wondering if it’s that but i don’t know. The instructions say to get the humidity between 70-75%. I have Filled both chambers with warm water, and the highest i could get it was to 68%. Its sitting at 66% right now and there’s still water in the chambers, so i cant Even add more if i wanted To. Please help!!! I know How important humidity is when hatching. Thanks in advance

What hygrometer are you going by? Your meter might not be accurate.

The one on the incubator. I have a digital one that’s sitting with the eggs and that one has always shown A % or so night than the incubator does probably because it’s on the floor of the bator. I’m afraid the shelf paper is blocking the vents on the floor of the incubator. Should i take It out?

Maybe take part of it out, and leave part of it in. It would make sense if it is blocking the evaporation.

i took the liner out. Took me less than a minute start to finish and it’s sitting at 73%!!! it was totally the liner!!! Thanks again for your help!!! The liner was blocking the vents.
