I bought this new incubator and it came today and as you can see it’s the magic fly incubator but I even dried it off and there’s barely any water in there and it says there’s 61 humidity and only 79 temp I feel like the humidity should be 55 or even 50 and the temp should be at least 100 but I can’t seem how to raise the temp but not raise the humidity as well has this happened to anyone else

If the temp really was 79, then by the time the temp would have gotten to 99 the relative humidity would be lower.

If you look at this dewpoint chart:

DewPoint-1.jpg

The dewpoint for 80 degrees and 60% RH is 65. Now if you heat that same air up to 100 degrees and use the chart to find 65 dewpoint, the RH will drop on its own accord to around 32% which sounds about right.

So that is part of the reason it is reading high. Get it up to temp first, then read and adjust the humidity. I imagine it would only take a bit of water to raise the RH a lot in that little incubator. Some people dry incubate and some do not.
