Can’t have roosters in town sadly

There is a popular silkie thread on byc. You could check it out and see if anyone is nearby. I've been known to drive 2 hours to rehome sweet roosters. I keep as many as I can from my own flock. I feel like roosters get a bum rap. I enjoy all this crowing most days, but I couldn't keep them if I was in a neighborhood.

And I’m willing to do the same. Goldie is a total buthole and I will admit that but sunny and little foot are so so sweet.
 
It is so sad that there are so many roosters in need of good homes, and so few homes that can accommodate them. I often see folks comment that their favorite bird in a flock is a rooster (at least until their hormones kick in and they go through what sounds like a tough adolescence). I am sorry I can't keep a rooster either. Good luck finding good homes.
