I have four ducks and I thought I gave away all my make ducks but one is trying to climb on top of one of my females . This duck doesn’t have curly tail and I don’t know how to check for male or female . Any one please tell me how I can check .

One of my favourite ways is to listen to it. If it quacks, it’s a duck, if it makes kind of a whispery raspy sound, it’s a drake.

Females will mount females, males will mount males. This is completely normal. My hens will mount each other even though I have two drakes with them. Depending on age, your duck is definitely female if she hasn’t developed a curly tail feather yet. Your duck appears female to me and if she quacks loudly it’s a given. She is a beautiful bird.

Awww thank you I love em all . I actually seen two geese fly over today while I was letting my ducks play in yard . Awesome ! I didn’t know they mount each other . Maybe she is just experimenting lol . I love my ducks and love all of y’all for helping me ! Best team ever !
