I live in New England for reference. We found out we have two roosters so we are splitting our flock. Our polish is getting 1 hen from the original flock and we got him 2 new ones. We were wondering if would be able to move him and the hen he is already with into the new coop together to make intros with the new ones easier but it is getting pretty cold here. The new coop is smaller and very well made with an insulated roof and venting at the top. His current lady friend is a sweet brahma. If we moved him and the current hen into the smaller coop right now, would they be okay at night with current night time temps in the 20s (fahrenheit)?
