Can A Brooder Be Too Big?

I just use a bottle cleaning brush and water. You could raise the feed and water dishes by popping a paver or a plank of wood under them. Nothing too high as you don't want them to struggle to get to it but just high enough to limit the amount of shavings that fouls up the water. If you find they are huddling lower the lamp a little. :)
They seem to huddle when they want to sleep but most of the time they’re moving around eating. Put the water on a couple pieces of scrap 2x3s and it seems it’s working. No more shavings in the water dish! :)

I wouldn't worry.
Are they doing well in their new room?
Yes there doing amazing! They’ve started to play chase the chick with th wood chip. It’s really cute! Quick question, I bought some chick grit and dried mealworms as a treat however the mealworms say for wild birds only. The bigger pack at the feed store said for wild birds and chicks (both bags are the same brand.) We asked the feed store worker and they said it was just a marketing thing I checked the back and they say the same thing in terms of nutrition and look the same. Do you thinks it’s safe to feed them some.
