Can a candler be too bright?

I'm in the process of building a candler so that I can see into the dark brown eggs. It will be finished tomorrow and will be putting out 450 lumens.. (LED so no heat) Anyway, I've had 3 people now ask if it will blind the chicks... I have never heard of this being an issue and don't think it is but since I don't know for sure.... Is it possible to have too bright of a light when candling?

I use one made using 24 high output LEDs an the ones I have hatching don't seem blind.

I'm not really sure their eyes have been formed enough to GO blind. I think the eyes develop most around lockdown?? Could be wrong though.
